Global Case Challenge: Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainability
Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainability: Applying Your Business Skills to a Real Case
We would like to invite you to participate in an exclusive international learning opportunity, namely the Global Case Challenge (GCC). The GCC is a collaborative online learning program bringing together students and faculty from five universities from five countries (Argentina, Austria, Israel, United Kingdom, and the United States), as well as experts from the practice and an institutional partner, namely Magdas Reinigung, a social business project initiated by CARITAS Austria. As such, this unique extra-curricular program offers students a chance to gain tangible international teamwork skills, develop intercultural communication abilities, and collaborate with peers in a global network.
The current edition of the GCC is dedicated to the topic of Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainability. It focuses on SDG #8 (decent work and economic growth) and SDG #10 (reduced inequalities) in general, and social business as an instrument for achieving sustainable societal change in particular.
The GCC is free and open to all advanced bachelor's and master's students enrolled at WU. Students can receive a certificate of participation after having successfully attended the program.
The program will host students from all partnering universities. Spots are limited. Please apply as soon as possible.
Application deadline is October 14th, 11:59 pm (midnight).
