Learning Apps

The Learning Apps application allows you to conduct surveys in your classes. You can choose between checkbox and clicker surveys.

In checkbox surveys (multiple choice), you can offer your students up to 20 different answer options.

Clicker surveys (single choice) can include up to five answer options. The results of a clicker survey are displayed in the form of a pie chart.

Clicker surveys allow you to create single choice questions that your students can then answer on MyLEARN. To use this feature, you need to create a question and a survey.

  1. Activate the Learning Apps application.
  2. In the application, click on “New” and select “Clicker”.
  3. Create a question by clicking on “New” and “Question”.
  4. Select the number of possible answers.
  5. Save your settings.
  6. Click the button “Continue: Create survey from this question”.
  7. Fill in the fields and select the appropriate question from the drop-down menu.
  8. Save your settings by clicking the “Create survey” button.
  9. Activate the survey when you would like to make it available to your students.

On MyLEARN, your students will see a red dot appear on the right-hand side of the header. To participate in the survey, they have to click on the dot.

Checkbox surveys allow you to create multiple choice questions that your students can then answer on MyLEARN. To use this feature, you need to create a question and a survey.

  1. Activate the Learning Apps application.
  2. In the application, click on “New” and select “Checkbox”.
  3. Create a question by clicking on “New” and “Question”.
  4. Select the number of possible answers.
  5. Save your settings.
  6. Click the button “Continue: Create survey from this question”.
  7. Fill in the fields and select the appropriate question from the drop-down menu.
  8. Save your settings by clicking the “Create survey” button.
  9. Activate the survey when you would like to make it available to your students.

To answer the question, students have to go to the Learning Apps application and open the checkbox survey during the class.

Once your students have completed the survey, you can view the results and export them.

  1. Click on the survey title
  2. Click the “Submission list” tab for an overview of all results

You can now edit, delete, or export the results.
