Research on Corporate Governance, Accounting, Financial Disclosure, Financial Markets, Management Control
The aim of doctoral research projects at the Institute for Corporate Governance is to generate new academic insights that are recognised by the relevant academic community as an advancement in academic knowledge, and to publish these in academic journals.
Upon completion of the course, students will know which steps are necessary when drafting an academic article presenting the new (theoretical and empirical, obtained using quantitative methods) findings of the dissertation (closing the identified research gap). Students will have the necessary knowledge to carry out these steps independently.
Attendance at the agreed sessions is a requirement for successfully completing the course, regardless of whether it is held online or in person.
Open discussions, lectures; paper reviews.
At the start of the semester, a plan will be drawn up outlining relevant activities relating to paper submissions and conference presentations.
The grade is based on:
Preparation of a proposal: 25% (individual)
Presentation of research findings: 50% (individual or, in the case of group research projects, as a group)
Contributions to discussions: 25% (individual)
Attendance is a requirement for successful completion of the course.
