Time and time again, "top in-demand job market skills" surveys place Creative Thinking as the most important skill (Forbes 2024, LinkedIn 2024).

It is a demanded skill for a reason -- being creative is hard. Being creative on demand is even harder.

Taming the muse with its fickle nature is a lifelong challenge. This course is aimed at getting you equipped with the tools that help you with it. You will learn and practice various creative techniques, working both independently and in teams to start building your creative muscle.

Learning outcomes

This course focuses on both the theory and practice of creativity. After the completion of the course, you will be able to understand and intentionally leverage creativity when working alone and in teams.

Individual creativity:

  • Demonstrate your creative potential; how to unlock it, express it, foster it.
  • Recognize that creativity is a process, not a flash of blinding light.
  • Notice, embrace, and apply creativity in unexpected contexts.

Team creativity:

  • Foster creativity and innovation when working with others.
  • Explore how creativity can be killed/muzzled intentionally or not.

Organizational creativity:

  • Learn how to build a climate for creativity in organizations.
  • Understand how to build a "fearless" organization
Attendance requirements

Participation in all sessions is mandatory. You may miss up to max. 20% of in-class hours. However, please note that every next course section builds up on the prior one. Thus, absences should be minimized to ensure your optimal learning outcomes
