Empowering Resilience with Advancing Supply Chain Capability

Contents: Supply chains vary in complexity across sector, industry, and geography. Complexity can also be due to uncertainties and supply chain disruptions. There are valuable guides for organizations to develop strategic plans and core operational changes to enhance resiliency. This course will explore how supply chains can be designed to balance operational efficiency with adaptability and build resiliency in a changing global environment.

Learning outcomes

-          Understand the complexities and challenges associated with supply chain resilience

-          Analyze the impact of different approaches to advancing supply chain capabilities to mitigate risk

-          Facilitate a series of tasks that can be performed in a multi-stage process in supply chain resilience implementation

Attendance is required for all sessions.

Day 1 (May 26, 2026)– Introduction to supply chain risk and resiliency

Day 2 (May 28, 2026) – Quiz, case study discussion, supply chain current event short paper and discussion

Day 3 (June 2, 2026) – Group presentations and wrap up

Quiz – 15 points

Class Participation – 15 points

Current Events Short Paper – 10 points

Group Presentation – 60 points

Excellent (1)                       90% - 100%

Good (2)                            80% - 89%

Satisfactory (3)                  70% - 79%

Sufficient (4)                      60% - 69%

Fail (5)                                  <60%
