This course provides an introduction to three core topics of the digital economy: Economics, Statistics, and Technology. First, students learn the core principles of microeconomics, focusing on consumer behavior, supply decisions, and price mechanisms. Second, students receive an introduction to statistical methods necessary to evaluate empirical and experimental applications in the real world. Third, the course presents the foundations of mathematics, programming, logic, and computer networks necessary to understand the core mechanics of the digital economy.
The course will discuss the basic theory and terminology and will link the content to other courses in the digital economy program.

Basic understanding of data and data types
Skills to find the right statistical method for the specific task
