Teaching and learning method(s)
This course is taught over the entire semester, in ten sessions. You will only make progress if you participate actively in these activities.
In case of restricted admission; selection criteria
Registration via the LPIS system.
Criteria for successful completion
WIKO II is now offered only to students in Part II of their 'Diplom' studies. It is no longer offered as a separate course, but as a variant of the 'Bachelor' course English Business Communication 1 (EBC1).

For details, including information about how the class is assessed, please see the EBC1 portal on Learn@WU ( https://learn.wu.ac.at/dotlrn/classes/ebce1/one-community?page_num=0 ).
Please note that you will NOT have to take Part I of the EBC1 examination, but you will have to ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE in all meetings of your class.

As a special concession you may miss TWO such meetings. However, if you fail to attend more than two you will have to present satisfactory evidence of serious illness (including details of nature and duration - a standard 'doctor's note' is NOT sufficient) or another equally good reason for ALL the sessions missed, to Dr Ross in the Institute for English Business Communication.

Availability of instructor(s) for contact by students
See homepage of the Institute for English Business Communication (http://www.wu.ac.at/ebc/ --- see: 'Office Hours')
