Learning outcomes

-To introduce to the phenomenon and trends of international labour migration, skilled migration and its causes and effects on International Business.

 

-To understand the main types of migrants, the concept of skilled migration and the advantages and challenges this poses to internationally operating firms.

 

-To plan, execute and analyze primary research in form of conducting a survey with standardized questionnaires.

 

-To conclude findings and to frame best practice methods for successfully incorporating and efficiently managing skilled migrants and their distinctive set of competencies for the benefit of the international firm.

 

-By the means of interactive group assignments, discussions, teamwork, primary research, as well as group presentations, students will enhance their hard as well as their soft skills.
