In the past 20 years, theopportunities offered by entrepreneurship and the image it has within societyhas changed a lot. Success stories like Google and Facebook together with ahigher perceived risk of being employed at a large corporation attract anincreasing number of young people into entrepreneurship. Additionally, especially the web and mobile sector has been running counter-cyclic andprovides great opportunities for anybody that can create a good product.
One of the most important things in entrepreneurship is to have the rightmindset. It requires a lot of discipline to be your own boss and you have toknow that you are doing the right things. So how do you know what the rightthings are? You ask your (potential) customers as soon as possible. A largepart of finding a successful business model, is to have fast iterations ofcreating an offering, interacting with your customers, and using the feedbackto improve the product offering.
This skill seminar will help students in choosing an idea to focus on,discussing this idea with potential customers, and coming up with an actualproduct to deliver. The course will draw from the recent Lean Startup theoriesand introduce students to effective Customer Development techniques. For thosethat are able to achieve real results within 2 months after the course, apitching session with an investor will also be organized.

2. Execution -Practical knowledge on how to go from idea to execution and how to focus onthose things that are actually important.
3. CustomerDevelopment – Hands-on skills on how to choose a target group and how to get intouch with potential customers
- The course is a twoday skill seminar, taking place on two consecutive Fridays. In the course ofthe two days the students will take the first steps in actually founding a realcompany. The first day will focus more on ideation whereas the second day willteach the students how to implement the feedback from their potentialcustomers. To gather input, students will have contact with real potentialcustomers during these days.
