International Business Taxation
Learning outcomes
This is the Research Program for the PhD in International Business Taxation (DIBT). Regular WU doctoral students are cordially invited to participate, but should be aware that the level required is aimed at full time fully financed PhD students. Goal is the understanding and discussion of the state of the art literature in international business taxation from a business, legal and economic perspective and beyond.
Teaching/learning method(s)

There will be 5 types of presentations:
1) Reading Group: A seminar paper from one of the involved fields will be presented (potentially presented by someone from another field). This is particularly suited for literature reviews.
2) Invited Speakers:
Visiting professors will be invited to present their recent research results.
3) Cross Presentations:
The idea here is that a student presents the research of another student or researcher, preferably from another discipline.
4) Seminar Presentations and Discussion:
Students may wish to present their recent research. The discussion should be done by a student from another field.
5) Bridging Course:
As a preparation for a presentation of a visiting professor, a short lecture on the broader research context shall be given as a form of introduction.

Assessment
Active participation, presentation, discussion.
