Objectives of the Course:The workshop aims to educate the participants on the research process and developing a literature review. After attending this course, students will be able to:
1) Develop a research study and write a literature review.
2) Identify important facts and information on their chosen research topic.
3) Organize cricital information in a written format.
4) Research properly and source information for their research study.
5) Apply knowledge from international marketing and international business electives.
In addition, this course fosters the following soft skills: Data Research, Analytical and Problem Solving Ability,Writing Skills,Team Competence (criticism and feedback),Time management and work ethics,
It will be in modular format of two to three hours sessions. Participants will work with the sample material during workshop hours. Written work will be required.
Grade valuation will be based on active participation, writing a research outline, developing a literature review, etc.Students are assessed primarily based on their participation, and written work is to be submitted on time, which means that your assignment is to be submitted no later than the deadline that will always be given to you in advance. Please note that there are no exceptions to this rule. Attendance will be required in specified lectures and workshops.
Consultation is by appointment via gvillanu@wu.ac.at.There are also consulting hours as part of the workshop hours.
Materials are uploaded in the class learn@wu file. Students will be notified via email accordingly.
