This course will focus on moving dissertations forward through presentation, feedback, and positioning for publication. The sessions will require a presentation of student’s manuscript. We will also discuss readings relevant to the field of innovation to include design. Finally, detailed written feedback will be offered to include theoretical, conceptual, analytical, and managerial relevance from the instructor.
The course has three main learning objectives: review students’ work, improve the quality of manuscripts through a presentation-feedback cycle, and help position manuscripts for publication opportunities.
The course fits into the overall plan of the E&I portfolio using the pedagogical techniques of “problem-based learning” in which students gain knowledge, experience and confidence by working in teams on complex and real-time cases.
