Learning outcomes

The course provides an introduction to the main topics in health economics and health policy. In particular, the objective of the course are:

  1. To familiarize the student with the main topics in health economics and health policy
  2. To provide a framework to analyze health policies from an health economics perspective
  3. To help developing a research agenda in health economics and policy
The focus of the course will be on the basic informational issues typically related to the healthcare sector and to the ways that different institutions have developed to tackle them. 

Teaching/learning method(s)
Classes will be interactive. The exact method used will be defined according to the needs of the students.
