This seminar is a co-operation with the Chair of International Marketing (Professor Adamantios Diamantopoulos) of Vienna University. It aims at doctoral and post-doctoral students with an interest in International Marketing or International Management. Participants will have an opportunity to present their work, ranging from early research proposals to nearly finished research papers, and obtain feedback from their peers and as well as from Prof. Diamantopoulos and Prof. Schlegelmilch.

The seminar will take place in an external seminar hotel near Vienna.

Learning outcomes

The participants will improve their understanding on how to conduct research in international marketing and international management and how to develop scientific papers in these fields.

Teaching/learning method(s)
The seminar will consist of a mix of short lectures,discussions as well as presentations by participants
Assessment

The participants are assessed on the quality of their written work (40%),their presentations (40%) and their contributions to discussions (20%)

Prerequisites for participation and waiting lists

Interested doctoral students and post-docs are requested to submit theircurriculum vitae and the proposal or paper they like to discuss three weeks before the course commences. Please send email with PDF attachments to bodo.schlegelmilch@wu.ac.at. The selection of the participants will be based on the quality of this submission.
