Leaders can make the difference between success and failure. This coursetakes the students beyond the tools and techniques of business and makes themthink about the broader challenges ahead of them as leaders in an ever-changingglobalized world, and about the competencies leading a global context requires.The course combines cutting-edge research in international business,organizational behavior and psychology in order to provide students withup-to-date examples, cases and tools that link current research and theory topractical issues in the workplace. The course puts a strong emphasis on givingstudents a chance for assessing and to developing their global leadershipcompetencies.

Teaching/learning method(s)

This is a highly interactive course that requires personal reflectionand involvement in discussion of leadership challenges and dilemmas.Participants will be exposed to cases and articles that deal with various globalleadership behaviors. We will also engage in a number of personal developmentexercises. Mini group-tasks & -reflections will be part of the repertoireof the teaching methods in this class as well.
