This course will deal with the following aspects in connection with business communication in English:
After completing this course, students should be better able, among other things, to
- engage in strategic communication
- give clear, well-structured oral presentations
- be able to recognise and apply persuasive rhetorical devices
- give constructive feedback

Specific tasks in the course will include giving presentations and writing emails, as well as participating in spontaneous speaking activities.
Students will be assessed on:
- brief written tasks (email & presentation abstract; 10%)
- active participation in class discussions and feedback (10%)
- engagement and performance in speaking activities (30%)
- a short presentation held in class (50%; includes quality of preparation and language proficiency)
