Registration via LPIS
Students aresupposed to specify the focus, structure, and working plan for their masterthesis and later improve their projects according to feedback from faculty andpeers. Students that have already finalized their thesis will present/defendtheir approach and results, and will share and discuss learnings andimplications with peers. In addition to presenting her/his own project, everystudent will provide structured feedback (incl. a short visual presentation) onanother presentation.
The courseenables students to
• Present and explain a research proposal
• Present and defend a (work-in-progress)research project
• Take and build on comments from acritical audience
• Critically evaluate research Project.
Participantsand faculty meet in four sessions (participation in all four units ismandatory). Every student will present her/his work once. Depending on thephase of their project, students present their thesis, thesis proposals orthesis drafts. In addition to presenting her/his own project, every studentwill provide structured feedback (incl. a short visual presentation) on anotherpresentation. Beyond that, peers and faculty will provide constructive feedbackon the project and its structure. Every student has to write up a brief essaythat summarizes the lessons learned.
