As the world changes very rapidly, organization needs to adapt to survive. Adaptation requires good choices. Good choices are several times backed by data, however how do we make a choice that is sound and supported by data? In this course, my goal is to increase your ability to do so.
Therefore, in this class I will stimulate and guide you to define a theoretical question of your interest, and accompany you to all the phases needed to answer your question. In this course therefore I will use a trove of methods, from frontal teaching to case studies as well as flipped learning, to stimulate your curiosity and to support your scientific work.
To structure a written and oral report;
To deal with empirical data, from data collection to the data analysis;
To prove hypotheses and make decisions supported by data.
Lectures, group discussions, students’ presentations, group works around theoretical questions and practical problems. Seminars on research methods and data analysis. Autonomous reading of academic literature.
