This seminar dealing with the topic of 'leadership development' will be jointly held by Dr. Kathrin Reinsberger, Barbara Mehner, MSc. (E&I) and Mag. Sebastian Körber (speaker, personality trainer and coach).

Leadership development expands the capacity of individuals to perform in leadership roles. Leadership roles within organizations are those that facilitate execution of a company’s strategy through building alignment, winning mindshare and growing the capabilities of others. However, leadership skills are not only applicable for individuals who already are in a formal leadership role but are also essential in numerous other contexts, e.g. when leading a project group in university or for effective self-management. Leadership development is thought to be key to business success.

The course starts with theoretical input on well-established leadership styles. A substantial part of this course will be spent on various interactive exercises in which students will train to identify, adapt and reflect on leadership abilities and attitudes of individuals.
