This course teaches the fundamentals of Business Process Management (BPM). It covers the general concepts of business process modeling with BPMN as well as techniques for process identification, process discovery, process analysis and process redesign. Beyond the class room sessions, there are exercises and group presentations on business processes from practice.

Learning outcomes

This course enables the participants to apply fundamental techniques of business process management including:

  • Process Identification
  • Process Discovery
  • Process Modeling
  • Process Analysis
  • Process Redesign

After completing this course, you will be able to analyze existing business processes and develop redesign proposals in order to innovate the business processes.

Furthermore, students get familiar with the recent research discussion in this field.
