Procedure for the course when limited activity on campus

Currently, it is planned to conduct this seminar in person, on-campus in a large enough seminar room. Students will be informed about further details via weekly mailing form CEMS Office.

Contents

Please do not register yourself on your own via LPIS. The seminar aims to develop the sales and negotiation skills of the students by sharing the expertise of Unibail-Rodamco’s Senior Leasing Managers.

 

 

Learning outcomes

In the first half of the training the skills of persuasion, empathy and active listening are explored. A theoretical background will be provided regarding planning, structuring and conducting negotiations. In the second part exercises both in groups and pairs will teach the students the practicalities of negotiations. They will learn how to negotiate in potentially difficult situations and adapt one´s skills in order to successfully close agreements.

Teaching/learning method(s)

Skill seminars help CEMS studens to improve their practical skills under supervision of lecturer from corporate sphere.

 

Assessment

- 30% active participation during the workshop

- 30% input and contribution

- 40% collaboration in group works
