Teaching/learning method(s)

This courses uses a variety of online teaching methods to facilitate the students' learning and to give them the most productive and enjoyable learning experience.

- Most of the classes will take place online, in a self-paced, flexible way, where students need to study the subsequent chapters individually. Occasionally, short podcasts or videos will extend their knowledge or give explanation to more complicated theories. Despite the flexible, online modus student, class interaction is also part of the course, but in an online form when students are responding and commenting to each others' learning points.

- In the second part of the course, students will have the chance to explore a topic of their interests more deeply in a written essay. They will work in small collaborative learning groups, where they facilitate each other's learning, and support each other in developing their essays.

- Live virtual sessions will frame the course (at the beginning, middle and at the end), where students have the opportunity to get to know each other and deepen and to discuss their learning points.
