Design Thinking – A six-step process leading to creative innovation

Currently, it is planned to conduct this seminar online. Students will be informed about further details via weekly mailing form CEMS Office.

Customer centricity has become key to success – Companies not only have to find and recognize their customers’ needs, but also adapt to them as they change in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. The methodology of Design Thinking offers a six-step process, which leads to creative ideas resolving a defined problem, thereby always focusing on the customers’ needs and wishes.

Learning outcomes

You will gain theoretical knowledge about the Design Thinking process and its history, learn from best practice examples and run through all of the six different phases during our workshop. We will find creative solutions to a problem, build prototypes, test them and each team will prepare a final pitch for their idea.

Attendance requirements

Full on-site attendance is mandatory on both days of the skill seminar.

Teaching/learning method(s)

Skill seminars help CEMS students to improve their practical skills under supervision of lecturers from the corporate sphere.
