Attendance requirements

This course requires attendance as it is held as a PI (Lehrveranstaltung mit immanentem Prüfungscharakter). Students are not allowed to miss more than one unit.

Teaching/learning method(s)
  • The course will be held as theoretical lecture. The lecture will be complemented by a take home assignment and discussions.
  • The students will be required to complete preparation tasks. Active involvement during discussions is highly appreciated.
  • The course comprises of six lectures
Assessment
  • In order to achieve a positive grade, students will be assessed based on:
    • Discussions
    • Take home assignment
    • Final Exam
  • The components of the final grading are weighted as follows:
    • Discussions    10%
    • Take home assignment   30%
    • Final Exams   60%
  • For a positive grade, at least 50% must be achieved
