Contents

The course provides the an overview on behavioral supply chain management. The topics to be covered include:

  • supplier-buyer interactions: classcial supply chain contracts and coordination (standard game theory)
  • behavioral game theory and social preferences like trust, fairness and reciprocity
  • supply chain dynamics and bullwhip-effect
  • development of own laboratory experiment
Learning outcomes

Students will become familiar with behavioral decisions in supply chain management problems with multiple actors (behavioral game theory).

Attendance requirements

Attendance is required in all sessions. Absence in one session is tolerated if a reasonable excuse is given before the session.

InClass Assignents (40 % Individual work)

InClass Presentations and Discussion (20 %  Group work)

Homework Assignments (15% Indivdual work, 25% Group work)

(1) Excellent: 90% - 100%

(2) Good: 80% - <90%

(3) Satisfactory: 70% - <80%

(4) Sufficient: 60% - <70%

(5) Fail: <60%
