In the last issue of Harvard Business Review, discussion was centered around common mistakes CEOs and Boards do when considering HR a cost center or an administrative function when it should be used is a great opportunity for companies to improve performance through a more people centric approach. In a nutshell, companies “misjudge what really matters to employees”, or what workers need to thrive over the long term, balancing material offerings with opportunities to grow, connection and community, and meaning and purpose.

This IBP is organized in cooperation with two CPs, Cartier and Capgemini. The research question raised by both is focused on talent acquisition and retention, but formulated slightly differently.

1. How to define a proactive talent acquisition strategy at Cartier while providing a best-in-class candidate experience?

2. Operating Model Of The Future - How consultancies need to transform their operating models to ensure talent attraction and retention in times of new work trends

Learning outcomes

The goal of this Business Project will be to conduct an analysis on the major trends and actions led by companies to engage with candidates in the best way possible.

Students should discover methodologies and tools in order to define candidate pools in line with current talent acquisition challenges and business priorities.

We expect:

- An in-depth market research on the expectations of candidates in the luxury retail or consultancy sphere

- A benchmark and market review on the best practices within the luxury industry/consultancy and beyond

- An overview on the best in class players in terms of candidate experience (related to engaging with candidates even in perspective of mid-term to long-term job opportunities)?

The final outcome would be to formulate recommendations for a proactive talent acquisition strategy to help CPs build talent pools.
