Entering international markets requires many crucial decisions. Firms must select attractive markets, find ways to serve these markets, assess local firms as candidates for acquisition or partnerships, and choose the proper moment for market entry. This course covers all of these questions and provides answers from both theoretical and practical viewpoints.
Students study theories, concepts, and methods required to enter international markets and understand their relevance for practical implementation.
Participants have to attend min. 80% of the sessions.
It is important that you are well prepared for the (online) sessions. This course is taught as "PI" with continuous assessment, therefore, attendance is necessary in all lectures (sessions).
The course comprises lecture units, short student presentations, and case studies.
Short Student Presentation 10%

Assessment of another Group's Presentation 10%
Written Test (24hrs Remote Take Home Exam) 50%
Grading scale: 100-90%: 1; 89.5-80%: 2; 79.5-70%: 3; 69.5-60%: 4; 59.5-0%: 5
