Contents

As part of the course, a real case study is developed in collaboration with organizations. In this context, organizations present their diversity-related issues, which students work on during the course and present at the end of the semester as part of a final event. To address the organizational case study, targeted content inputs are provided during the sessions, and group work is continuously supervised.

Learning outcomes

Students learn to understand and systematically address diversity-related issues through real cases. They can apply methods of organizational analysis and critically reflect on the implementation and integration of diversity management. By the end of the course, students are capable of composing an executive summary and describing a case study.

Attendance requirements

Attendance Requirement

In examination-related courses (PI-LV), attendance is mandatory.

If there is a significant reason for absence from a course, a maximum of 20% of the total course duration can be compensated through additional assignments. If cumulative absences exceed 20%, the course must be repeated. A confirmation (e.g., a medical certificate) may be required for the period of absence.

According to the examination regulations of WU, significant reasons are those beyond the student's control (illness, accident, death of a close family member). Professional commitments are not considered significant reasons within the meaning of the examination regulations, as they are within the control of the students.

The course includes organization presentations, brief lectures, group work, presentations, plenary discussions, and group coaching.
