Assembling a team and pitching the venture are two of the key skills entrepreneurs require to be successful. In this course we aim to discuss these two areas, and together with guest speakers from the Austrian entrepreneurship ecosystem aim to equip our students with key skills, especially in pitching.

In this course, we will discuss the following elements

  • What makes a good team?
  • Is founding with friends a good idea?
  • What can go wrong in founding teams?
  • What makes a good pitch?
  • How do venture capitalists evaluate pitches?
Learning outcomes

After successfully completing the Entrepreneurial Skills Zone, students will be able to:

  • Identify key characteristics of successful founding teams
  • Practice their own pitching skills
  • Know key factors that make venture pitches successful
