In-person / "Kontaktstunden":

5 lecture units

 

Online (synchron):

1. Study what you learnt in class: Slides presented in class

2. Deepen your understanding:

  • 3-5 online videos to watch after each unit
  • 3-5 articles to read after each unit

3. Test your understanding:

  • 20 multiple choice questions (4 after each unit) that are graded

4. Apply your knowledge

  • Read 5 case studies and submit at least one written case study solution
  • Read / watch the solutions to the case studies (published after the hand-in date of the task above)

5. Ask your questions

  • Forum in which you can read through other students‘ answered questions and ask your own questions
  • Students can connect with each other to form study groups

 

Assessment
60%  Final Exam: 60 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions
30%  Multiple Choice questions after units (due three days after respective session)
5%  Case Report: Choose 1 of 5 cases to write a case report and submit your case solution
5%  Case Report: Choose 1 of 5 cases to write a case report and submit a second case solution
 
 
60-69%: Genügend
70-79%: Befriedigend 
80-89%: Gut
>90%: Sehr gut
 
Quiz and case study points cannot be transferred to another semester. Final percent will be rounded to next full percent.
Prerequisites for participation and waiting lists

Students will be added based on their position on the waiting list. Registrations beyond the designated course size is not possible. There is no registration via email - please refrain from sending registration emails to the lecturers.

If you do not take the course, please deregister. As attendance is not required, we will not deregister you automatically.

Die Platzvergabe während der Anmeldefrist erfolgt nach dem „first come, first served“-Prinzip.

Nach Ende der Anmeldefrist werden verfügbare LV-Plätze aufgestockt und die Studierenden der Warteliste, die derzeit noch keine gültige LV-Anmeldung zum Planpunkt haben (d.h. Tauschanfragen werden nicht berücksichtigt), nach Studienfortschritt gereiht zugeteilt. Dabei werden all jene, die bei einer Lehrveranstaltung während des aktuellen Semesters noch auf einer Warteliste für diesen Planpunkt stehen, priorisiert.

Die Durchführung obliegt dem Vizerektorat für Lehre und Studierende und ist daher ohne Einflussmöglichkeit der/des LV-Leiter*in.
