GMLP II is based on:
1. deepening the understanding of key concepts from GMLP I by applying them in a theoretical paper. These topics include but are not limited to: multi-level governance, globalization and its discontent, and the Foundational Economy.
2. a joint research project resulting in a research study (3 to 4 persons)
3. an individual reflection paper
4. a group reflection paper

After completion of Globalisation and Multi Level Policy II (GMLP II) students

• can write research studies which are excellent and relevant
• are capacitated to mobilize multiple (interdisciplinary) perspectives, concepts and theories for the analysis of contemporary global policy challenges
• can execute a proper empirical research project, linking research question, theories (concepts) and adequate methods

GMLPII is an in-person, continuous assessment course (PI) with mandatory attendance. One session may be missed.

The course will deepen the understanding of concepts and theories of multi-level governance, globalisation, democracy, power and space by applying them to concrete research topics. The course is based on in-class discussions, presentations and individual coaching sessions. Assessment methods include presentations, writing theoretical and empircal scientific papers, and individual as well as group reflection. Necessary materials will be provided on Canvas.

Successful completion of "Globalisation and Multi-Level Policy I" or equivalent.
