Contents

The course focuses on the internationalization process in companies. Starting with direct investments, through its financing process, to modern management of international companies. This results in the following contents:

- Introduction, goals, definitions
- Foreign direct investments
- Traditional financing in an international environment
- Modern financing through innovative financing instruments
- Private Equity, Venture Capital
- Evaluation and comparison methods
- Traditional methods of managing international investment and investment abroad
- Value-oriented methods for managing international foreign investment and investments

Learning outcomes

Students will...
- have a fundamental understanding of financing companies in an international environment
- learn to apply modern instruments of managing international foreign investment
- know how to design instruments and processes in modern international companies
- improve their presentation skills

 

Attendance requirements

Attendance in the first session is mandatory!

Generally, you need to attend all sessions. However, we will not meet in class at every unit indicated in the course catalogue as some of those sessions are blocked for group or individual work. More information will be given during the first sessio

20% pre presentation incl literature & figures
