Contents

Theory and practice of diplomacy and negotiation, applied negotiation techniques within diplomacy, politics and business.

Learning outcomes

Using theoretical models, simulation games and practical exercises, students are familiarized with challenges, questions and practical cases in the field of negotiation, mainly covering the international arena.

Attendance requirements

Minimum of 75% attendance is precondition for admission to the exam.

Teaching/learning method(s)

Integrated seminar with a high degree of practice and applied learning.

Assessment

25% active participation at classes

25% active participation at case studies

50% exam (movie clip of a played negotiation case)

Prerequisites for participation and waiting lists

First come, first serve as entry principle, maximum of 30 participants, knowledge of languages beyond English is advantageous
