In this course, "Introduction to Content Production", you'll gain insight into the basics of content strategy, planning, preparation and creation in a corporate context. Together, we discuss possible approaches, tools and trends, as well as the differences between various platforms and media formats.
The practical part of the course consists of planning, developing and presenting a topic or project of your choice to the group.
In an appreciative and collaborative setting, we want to learn with and from each other and combine creative thinking with strategic communication solutions.
After you have completed this course, you will:
- be able to tell a story on various platforms
- be able to plan, produce and edit content for various platforms
- know how to strategically use content on various platforms
- be able to identify different types of content, how and when to use them
This is a PI course (no exam), therefore attendance (80 %) is a requirement to pass this course. In case of absence, please notify the lecturer in advance.

This course is scheduled for six dates and is a mixture of lecture, individual and group learning.
You get basic know-how of content production and how to make strategic decisions fort he best outcome of your communicative project.
After diving into basics and theories, you will recap this in a short written summary.
The last two sessions are reserved for your elaborated content presentations followed by discussions in class, so that everyone benefits from the individually developed approaches.
Grading will be based on:
- Active participation in class (15 %)
- Short written summary, recap, your take-aways (35 %)
- Production and presentation of topic/project (50 %)
