Global Leadership & Management will deal intensively with modern and agile leadership in an international environment within global organizations. Within the course participants will develop the distinction between management and leadership. While management deals with the organisation, planning, control and monitoring of resources, leadership refers to the inspiration, motivation and influencing of people. Organizations are successful when they are based on a clear structure and hierarchy, are characterized by efficient processes and procedures, pursue a clear strategy and efficient communication, and are characterized by strong leadership with motivated employees. In our global environment leaders need to become competent in cross-culture awarness and practice and learn to understand cultural sensitivity and the importance for sustainable success to support diversity within the teams.
Global Leadership & Management aims to support participants in realiziation and training of their leadership potential and develop their ability to learn from experienced global leaders. Overall, Global Leadership & Management course aims to shape one’s individual way in empowering and enganging people for exceptional performance within organizational context.

Relevant theories and models will be shared, analysed and discussed within the course including pracital expamples with the opportunity to learn from experience leaders. Opportunities for students during the sessions for learning through action, reflection, conceptualization and intentional experimentation both in an individual and collective base.
