read!t Terms of Use and Copyright Information
Important information
The WU University Library is responsible solely for the operation of read!t and not for the content provided there. Any authorized user who makes content available on read!t is responsible for full compliance with the applicable legal regulations (especially copyright and data protection regulations). WU is not liable for any damages suffered by third parties in connection with content provided on read!t.
If the content provided is subject to specific conditions, e.g. copyright licenses, the appropriate authorized users can indicate these conditions by adding a public note to the resource in question.
WU does not view, review, or monitor the stored and available content, neither before it is put online nor afterwards. However, this does not preclude person-specific analyses of content data that may be carried out to ensure IT security in line with WU’s internal guidelines.
The WU University Library will – as far as legally and technically possible – enable storage of the content so that it is available to authorized users in digital form for teaching and research purposes or for other tasks and responsibilities at WU.
This means that, in principle, users will be able to download these types of content.
By uploading content in read!t, no exploitation rights are granted to WU, nor are the rights of use of the holders of these rights limited in any way.
Any links and URLs available in read!t may only be shared with authorized users (i.e. WU faculty, staff, and students within the WU network).
