Web Streaming

You can find more information via the Medienguide.

After having scheduled your lecture, you can make it available as a live stream.  Only students who are registered for your course can see the stream.

  1. In MyLEARN, navigate to your course and activate the application "Lecturecasts".
  2. In the menu, click on "New“ and on "Schedule Web Streaming". You get a list of your lecture dates and the opportunity to schedule a web streaming for the chosen date.

Only those lectures that take place in a lecture hall with camera equipment can be scheduled for web streaming. The web streaming does not start automatically. You have to start it manually in the lecture hall via the lecturecast touch panel.
More information on this topic can be found via the Medienguide.

As soon as you schedule a web streaming via MyLEARN, the lecture date with the link to the web streaming is placed automatically in the calendar.

At the target page, students find information for which time and date the web streaming is scheduled. As soon as you start the web streaming in the lecture hall, the students see this at the target page.

PLEASE NOTE: Only registered members of your course have access to the web streaming.
